The Main Event: Honda Indy Toronto: NTT INDYCAR SERIES:

Colton Herta won the Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday July 21, 2024 starting from the pole and maintaining first place throughout the race. It was his first victory in over 2 year. “It’s awesome. It’s amazing,” Herta said. Kyle Kirkwood came in 2^nd coming in .34 seconds behind giving Andretti Global a 1-2 finish in the race. Scott Dixon,winner of the Honda Indy Toronto 2022 , captured 3^rd place less than a second behind Herta.

The race featured a multi-car crash with 13 laps remaining when Pato O’Ward spun out into a wall, leaving the nose of his car jetting out onto the track causing the collision with three more drivers: Pietro Fittipaldi, Santino Ferrucci and Nolan Siegel. Fortunately none of the racers were seriously injured.

The Honda Indy Toronto, an annual IndyCar Series race, hit Toronto on the grounds of the C.N.E. from July 19 to 21, 2024. Indy Toronto includes the free by donation family Friday, three days of racing, Thunder Ally, Beer Gardens, qualifying races, and the races: the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires, USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires, and the Sports Car Championship Canada.

Thunder Alley:

Thunder Alley had interactive contests and exhibits, food trucks and vendors, live entertainment, driver autograph sessions and family fun.

The Honda Indy Toronto is an annual IndyCar Series. The track is located on the C.N.E. grounds in Toronto.
