The Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Weekend 2025 brought the heart and soul of hockey to downtown Toronto from November 8–10, 2025, uniting fans, legends, and rising stars for an unforgettable celebration of the sport.

The weekend kicked off with the HHOF Game on Saturday, November 8, featuring a thrilling matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Carolina Hurricanes. The energy continued through the weekend with fan events, alumni appearances, and the dazzling Induction Celebration on Monday, November 10, at the iconic Hockey Hall of Fame.

This year’s Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration recognized eight incredible individuals whose talent, leadership, and passion have helped shape the game. Six inductees entered under the Player Category, while two were honoured as Builders, celebrating their lifelong dedication to hockey’s growth and excellence.

Jennifer Botterill
A trailblazer from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jennifer Botterill dominated at Harvard University and became a powerhouse on the international stage. A three-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time IIHF World Championship MVP, her name is synonymous with leadership and excellence in women’s hockey.

Zdeno Chara
The towering defenceman from Trencin, Slovakia, played over 1,680 NHL games—the most ever by a blueliner. Known for his unmatched strength and leadership, Chara captured the Norris Trophy in 2009 and hoisted the Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011.

Jack Parker
A legend behind the bench, Jack Parker devoted 40 seasons to Boston University, guiding the Terriers to three NCAA titles and an incredible 897 career wins. His legacy as a mentor and motivator will inspire generations to come.

Danièle Sauvageau
A true pioneer, Montreal’s Danièle Sauvageau made history as the first woman inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Builder. Her leadership roles across six Olympic Games have elevated women’s hockey globally and helped build the foundation for future stars.
