You entered the magical world of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada Gala – Teddy Bear Affair 2024 Toronto– where elegance, inspiration and hope came together to raise $ 1.8 million so that crucial services such as trauma-focused mental health support, tutoring and mentoring can be offer for kids in care as well as employment skills to help young people successfully transition out of the child welfare system into employment.
It was truly an inspiring evening of compassion and generosity that united business executes, philanthropists, politicians, and community leaders who share the foundation’s conviction that every child deserves a chance to dream, heal, hope, and thrive.
The Teddy Bear Affair was hosted by Jennifer Valentyne, television and radio host, and co-hosted by Ray Williams, seasoned financial services executive and Nicole Stewart Kamanga, a lawyer and dedicated Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada Board Member. The 2024 Gala Committee is composed of Carole-Ann Hamilton and Susan Saunders, Co-Chairs as well as Dina Bantis, Jodi Black Napolitano, Jackie Cope, Christine Dunn, Susan Eickmeier, Minerva Isovski, Jennifer Kalef, Barbara Lang, and Emma MacDonald.
