The much-anticipated city’s most glamorous annual ball, the Butterfly Ball, at the ultra-luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in ultra-chic Yorkville brought Toronto’s high society, which included the National Ballet of Canada’s top principal dancer, the talented and beautiful Heather Ogden, together for a night of amazing food, drinks, music, dancing and a suspenseful raffle of pearls and diamond jewelry, all captured by well-known photographer George Pimentel and his team, including Ernesto, at the main sponsor Max Mara’s studio and the ballroom. The significant funds raised during this glamorous event were all in support of Boost Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (Boost CYAC), and its important programmes aiding child and youth victims of abuse. Building on the success from The Butterfly Ball, the inaugural “After the Ball” at Vela Restaurant near King Street West, on June 20, 2024, encourages the next generation of change leaders to come together to raise vital funds for Boost CYAC.
