Informa Tech presented SecTor 2024 in Toronto from October 22 to October 24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto. On Tuesday, October 22, the event featured 3 summits: the ninth annual SecTor Executive Summit, the inaugural AI Summit , and the ninth annual Cloud Security Summit at SecTor. The first two days were devoted to technical training while the last two days the conference and briefings were held. There were many networking events such as luncheons, coffee breaks and private receptions held by sponsors.
5,000 Security professionals registered to attend the event and experience firsthand the latest in research, development, and trends in cybersecurity through 45 Briefings covering everything from artificial intelligence (AI), enterprise security, reverse engineering, and more. Vendors presented the latest in technologies and products as well as sessions to I/T professionals and managers. There was also an area for Bricks & Picks for learning the vulnerabilities in locks, start-up areas as well as the education area.
