Elevate Toronto 2024 was held in Toronto, Ontario from October 1 to 3, 2024 for a three-day technology conference. One of this technology conference’s purposes is to showcase “Toronto’s thriving tech ecosystem while promoting Toronto internationally as a world class destination for innovation, startups, talent and investment.” The conference had presentations in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Blockchain, the future of work.
Women in Tech
New features at this year’s conference included a new pub crawl, different content tracks, and expansion of the Women+ in Tech program, which offers access to a lounge, networking opportunities, evening events, and a chance to pitch on stage.

Speakers at Elevate Toronto 2024 included journalist and podcaster Kara Swisher; Lightspeed Commerce CEO and founder Dax Dasilva; Globalive founder and chairman Anthony Lacavera; former astronaut and Elevate co-chair Chris Hadfield; Lisa LaFlamme; music video director, Director X; Canadian indie pop duo, Tegan and Sara; award-winning American journalist, Kara Swisher; astronaut and Elevate Co-Chair, Chris Hadfield; President of Shopify, Harley Finkelstein; legendary entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Arlene Dickinson; Founder and returning CEO of Lightspeed, Dax Dasilva; CEO of Food52; former Barstool Sports CEO, Erika Ayers Badan; WNBA Toronto President and former Raptors executive, Teresa Resch. The festival was emceed by Amber Mac.
