About Leadership Sinai

Created in 1993, Leadership Sinai is Mount Sinai's young leaders organization which ( as the name suggests ) attracts young, energetic and passionate people to use and develop their leadership skills while giving something back to their community, and to the Mount Sinai Hospital. Leadership Sinai, through membership and fundraising initiatives such as the 2007 Spring Ball, has made substantial contributions to the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation which uses the money raised for important projects that support research, enhanced patient care facilities, new technology and equipment.

Mount Sinai Hospital

Mount Sinai Hospital is an internationally recognized health care centre affiliated with the University of Toronto. In 1923, it started as a 33-bed maternity and convalescent hospital in the Yorkville area of Toronto; however, it is today a 472-bed patient care, teaching and research hospital. Mount Sinai Hospital continues to enhance its programs and serve the community through the leadership of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation of Toronto, Leadership Sinai, the Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary, and its many supporters in Canada. For more information about the hospital click on this page.

Live from South Beach was an exciting event that brought many young people together for a worthy cause - to raise funds for the Mount Sinai Hospital. For more information about this and other events and this hospital, please click on this page.
