Toronto Pride Week 2012 was held June 22 to July 1, 2012 in Toronto, Canada. Pride Week 2012 was the 32nd annual Pride Week celebration.  It included special events, entertainment,a weekend street fair, Family Pride, the Dyke March and the Pride Parade as well as a host of other events. Toronto Mayor Rob Ford did not attend either the parade or the opening ceremony. 

Headline performers included Keshia Chante (who TorontoArtsandEvents first covered in 2004), Tom Stephan, Corey Hart and Bif Naked.

Toronto’s one million dollar budget is paid by “aggressive fund raising” such as the toonie drive, individual & corporate donations.  According to Pride Toronto, Pride Week contributes about $ 80 million to the local economy.
