Palais d'Hiver was held February 20, 2009 under the cathedral ceiling of the Great Hall at Hart House in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This event included an"open bar featuring premium wine, eco-chic cocktails, gourmet & organic food." TorontoArtsandEvents! loved the chocolate. (see photograph) The entertainment included Les Coquettes Nouveau Burlesque Ensemble, a whimsey of carnival inspired live performances, Zero Gravity performed a showcase of aerial acts, fire blowers, and illusionists. Prizes included a luxurious trip for two to New York City.
Palais d'Hiver was an exciting event held at Hart House: "Hart House is the Student Centre for the St. George Campus and a place where all UofT students, faculty, staff and alumni belong."[harthouse.ca] Hart House is a place to eat, to exercise, for theatre and there are many clubs.
