Design Exchange Black & White Gala

The Design Exchange held its annual Black and White Gala, Feel This on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at its site in Toronto, Canada! Guests enjoyed Canadian born but New York based, design icon and DJ Karim Rashid in the Esoterik Elektro Party with some hot performers. Cool jazz was enjoyed by the well dressed young professional crowd in the Eb Zeidler Retrospective Lounge. Other guests enjoyed Casino Royale, including high-stakes lottery, poker and games of chance. Sumptuous soulful food and a complete and totally open bar was available throughout the evening.

Highlights of the evening included:

  • 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. VIP Dinner in the Exhibition Hall honoring Canadian architectural icon Eb Zeidler and a presentation by Dr. John Evans
  • 8:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. The Big Party on the Trading Floor
  • 8:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Edelman Leather Lounge
  • 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Live Jazz with Carol McCartney in TD Link
  • 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. DX Charity Casino Royale in DX Studio
  • 9:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Dance Performance - Trading Floor
  • 9:15 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Karim Rashid DJ in Esoterik Elektro -

The Black & White Gala was a fantastic evening for a worthy cause; namely, the Design Exchange. It was a great effort on the part of all the sponsors, organizers, business that donated auction items, bar staff, waiter.
