KOOZA: Cirque du Soleil
August 9 to October 7, 2007
The Cirque du Soleil raised the curtain on its latest show, KOOZA - Toronto audiences were given a spectacular showing that returned the world-famous company back to its classic circus origins! KOOZA opened inside the Cirque's blue-and-yellow Grand tent set up at Cherry Beach in Toronto's portlands neighbourhood on Thursday August 9, 2007. The dazzling artistic quality of Cirque du Soleil has changed the circus into an exciting, story performance experience. But Cirque du Soleil has redefined the meaning of the word and has taken it to the next level, performance art without boundaries. And their fascinating mixture of costume, music, stage design and showmanship dazzled Thursday night audience. The most breathtaking segments include, as always, the absolute athletic skill and bravery of the acrobats and gymnasts. There are no animals in Cirque du Soleil productions, only total human force is put to the task. I encouraged everyone who have not seen the Cirque du soleil's performance to go and see it before it close.
